Hi I'm Kayleigh and I run Bonnie Pop Makes.
It all started when I had my daughter Bonnie in 2015, I became tired of all the girls clothes being pink and flowery or covered in cheesy slogans and cartoon characters. She was, and still is, small for her age and I could never get high street clothes to fit properly. Sick of too short leggings that fit on the waist and dresses that grazed the floor I decided to buy some fabric and make my own! 4 months later Bonnie Pop Makes came into existence although I didn't sell clothing to start with!
Bibs, bags and bunting was where I started my selling journey in October 2016, my clothing range came later on in January 2017, but now I make virtually everything in Bonnie's wardrobe and we have added a newbie to our family, Xander, born in November 2017.
Now I make leggings for babies and children, rompers, dungarees, dresses, shorts and t-shirts, hoodies and jumpers, a carefully selected range of the best patterns I can find! I aim to create comfortable, durable children's clothing in modern and funky unisex prints to make your children and mine stand out from the crowd!
I love sewing and I adore choosing unique, high quality fabrics for my ranges. 2017 saw the launch of my first exclusive range of fabrics, my Christmas range and I have continued to source and create new designs that you all love!
I am a member of the Cheltenham Mum Boss Club which a fabulous collective of local women who all run their own small (and not so small) businesses, you can find out more about joining here: Mum Boss Club
I am proud to handmake all my items in Gloucestershire and here I can also recommend some of my favourite local small businesses:
www.busylittlebears.co.uk - Tania makes brilliant sensory bags that would be perfect alongside a new baby gift self from myself as a baby shower gift!
www.naturalessencephotography.co.uk - Newborn photography in Cheltenham
www.emmajackson.co.uk - Newborn and small business branding photography
www.cheltenhamrocks.co.uk - Diary of all the best things to do in and around Cheltenham
www.eco-able.co.uk - Run by Dani, author of Away and stockist of BonniePop wipes
Pattern placement may vary on each items due to restrictions when cutting. Smaller sizes in particular may not feature full designs if the featured pattern is large. The majority of items are made with cotton jersey, 95% cotton, 5% elastane. All my fabric is Oeko-Tex certified which is a worldwide standard ensuring that fabric production meets requirements to be used for babies and children's clothing. This means that you can be sure that no harmful substances have been used in the production or dying process.
Prices of items are subject to change at my discretion, this may be due to fluctuations in the exchange rates I pay (boo to Brexit!) and increasing postage charges.
I advise that you wash inside out at 30 on a delicate cycle, do not tumble dry and iron on the reverse at a low heat avoiding any poppers if necessary. I cannot be held responsible for any fault with your product if this advice is not followed.
A certain amount of fading and wear and tear is expected as with any garment, particularly in areas of hard wear such as bums and knees on leggings/rompers where children are crawling/shuffling. Fading may be more visible on darker fabrics. Washing inside out and never tumble drying will reduce these issues.
Although products are made and finished to the highest standard, poppers may become unstable with time and repeated washing, please cease use if this is the case. None of my clothing is intended to be worn as nightwear.
Delivery is via standard first class Royal Mail. Proof of postage is obtained for every transaction and retained indefinitely. Please check your address carefully when you order. In rare circumstances post may take up to 10 days to arrive, please contact me if you have not received your item within this timescale. If you do require tracked postage, please purchase the tracked postage option alongside your order. Postage is within the UK and Europe only, any orders elsewhere will be refunded and cancelled.
Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively, please apply the appropriate code at checkout. Always check sizing carefully in the item descriptions and contact me with any queries you may have. Exchanges and refunds are offered within 14 days only of your item arriving. Please email me if this is the case. Items must be posted back promptly and in an unwashed and unworn condition. If the item appears to have been washed or worn we are within our rights to refuse a refund or exchange. If the item is faulty, it will be repaired/remade upon return of the original item. Items made to custom measurements are exempt from the returns policy.
Turnaround time not including postage is usually within 3-4 working weeks (not including weekends). More details will appear on my Instagram page of my current turnaround times. Please be aware that I am a mummy to young children and sometimes real life gets in the way but customers will always be kept updated via email (address used on ordering) and Instagram if there are any delays beyond my 4 week turnaround.
